Bandera ISD has remained in communication with the Texas Department of Emergency Management and the National Weather Service this afternoon. Currently, Bandera ISD has made the decision to delay 2 hours tomorrow morning, Thursday, February 2, 2023.
Bandera ISD will continue to remain in contact with the Texas Department of Emergency Management and the National Weather Service throughout the evening and into the early morning. Should the need to cancel or delay further arise, the community will be updated on all BISD Social Media Platforms including our BISD App, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and local news stations.
Weather and road conditions will vary significantly within the district. School delay and closure decisions are made in consultation with transportation experts to determine the district’s ability to safely transport students. Even when inclement weather does not call for a delayed start or school closure please closely monitor your local road and weather conditions to determine that travel to school is safe for your family.
